The mission of the West Virginia Food & Farm Coalition is to improve the viability of the local food sector statewide by building and supporting a statewide network of those involved in West Virginia’s local food economies.
In 2014, the Food Access Working Group funded Mobile Farmers Markets in Williamson and Wheeling. These Mobile Markets create sales opportunities for local farmers as well as access to healthy food in rural communities.Read more »
Food Hubs are a way for a community to benefit from local food by allowing farmers to bring product together for sale while spending less time on direct sales.
