We graciously thank our current board members for their service and dedication, but the time has come to add some new faces to the team. The West Virginia Food and Farm Coalition is seeking qualified and diverse candidates to join our executive board to serve a three year term with the option to serve six years consecutively. As an educational resource, WVFFC promotes connectivity and access to education and training opportunities between food and farm stakeholders. WVFFC helps to identify obstacles and opportunities in
development of a local and regional food system; organizes the existing community of advocates for local and regional food systems; develops and continues a statewide conversation among them; brings together people and organizations who have complementary interests in food and farm issues; and creates environments for mutual learning and exchange among ground-level practitioners.
