This Working Group provides opportunities for increased availability, affordability, and accessibility of local foods so that West Virginias can consume healthy, local food at the household level in order to improve the overall health of residents.
This Working Group provides policy and procedure to 1) increase the participation of youth and new farmers in the agricultural economy and 2) ensure that our schools are buying healthy local foods.
This Working Group aims to improve WV’s meat processing infrastructure through providing business resources and policy support to new and existing processing businesses.

Better known as the Hub Club, this practitioner lead Working Group is growing and supporting food hubs in WV through trainings and resource sharing.

This network connects young and beginning farmers to each other to build community and share resources.
